How Your Online Photo Gallery Works (and How to Download, Share, and Order Prints)
A simple walkthrough of how your private Pixieset gallery works — downloading full-resolution photos, sharing with family, favoriting images, and ordering prints.
How Your Online Photo Gallery Works
After your session or wedding, you'll receive a link to a private online gallery. Here's everything you need to know about using it.
Receiving Your Gallery
You'll get an email with a private link and, if your gallery is password-protected, a PIN code. The link goes directly to your gallery — no account creation required. Keep this email somewhere safe.
Downloading Your Photos
Click the download button in the top right corner of the gallery. You can download the full gallery as a zip file, or select individual photos and download those. Always download the full-resolution versions for printing — not screenshots or previews.
Favoriting Images
You can click the heart icon on any photo to add it to your Favorites collection. This is useful for identifying the shots you want to print, share, or use for your announcement. I can see your favorites too, which helps if you want guidance on which images to prioritize.
Sharing With Family
Your gallery link can be shared with anyone — grandparents, the wedding party, out-of-town relatives. If your gallery is password-protected, share both the link and the PIN together.
Ordering Prints
From inside the gallery, you can order professional prints, canvases, albums, and more directly through the store. These are printed on archival materials by professional labs — different from a drugstore or consumer print service.
Gallery Expiration
Your gallery link stays active for 12 months. After that it may expire. Download your full-resolution photos soon after delivery and back them up to a hard drive or cloud storage. Don't let your only copy live exclusively in the gallery.
If you ever have trouble accessing your gallery, reach out directly — I'll resend the link and PIN within a few hours.
