A buyer who has already walked the home online books a showing knowing what to expect, and the ones who can't see past the layout drop out early. Tours save you and your sellers showings that were never going to turn into an offer.

A 3D scan of the whole home. Buyers move from point to point, look in any direction, measure rooms and switch between walkthrough, dollhouse and floor-plan views.

This is a sample space published in Matterport's developer resources, embedded to show how a tour works. It is not a property we scanned. Matterport may change or remove it at any time.

Matterport dollhouse view

The same scan, seen from outside as a 3D model with the roof lifted off. Buyers spin it to see how rooms connect and which bedrooms share a wall.

Zillow 3D Home

Zillow's own tour format: 360° points captured with Zillow's app, published directly to your Zillow listing. Zillow listings with a 3D Home tour show it in the listing's media.

Since October 20, 2025, Zillow no longer shows Matterport tours on Zillow listings, so a Zillow 3D Home tour is the way to have an explorable tour on Zillow itself.

Frequently asked

Matterport or 360° tour: which should I choose?

Matterport gives the most complete experience: free movement, measurements and a dollhouse view. A 360° tour is lighter, faster on phones and costs less. For most condos and rentals, 360° is enough; for luxury and relocation buyers, Matterport is worth it.

Can I put a Matterport tour on Zillow?

Not anymore. Zillow stopped showing Matterport tours on Zillow listings on October 20, 2025. If Zillow matters for the listing, add a Zillow 3D Home tour, and use the Matterport tour on the MLS, your property website and social.

How long is a tour hosted?

Tours stay live for the hosting period of your order, and on your property website for as long as the site is online. Hosting can be extended.

Do tours work on phones?

Yes. All formats work in a mobile browser, with no app required. 360° tours and video load fastest on slow connections.

Can the tour include measurements?

Matterport tours include a measurement tool. Measurements are approximate and for marketing, not appraisal or construction.
